It was reported that members of the NCDC went to Badore in Ajah to transfer a reported COVID-19 patient to an isolation centre. But unfortunately, the man had already died before they arrived. Drama ensued when the NCDC officials tried to take custody of the man's corpse and the aggroeved family members refused.
As reported by a Twitter user @Nerdy_Dopey, the family members and the area boys were literally dragging the diseased corpse with the NCDC officials who were in their customer PPE while both the family members and the area boys as well as the onlookers including the mediators where all without any form of protection. It was a like a game of thing of war said the reporter.
As at the time of compiling this report, the Ajah area has not been lockedown neither has the family memebem all all concerned individuals quarantined.
